Platinum Proficient Mortgages is a licensed mortgage brokerage operating in Ontario, Canada. Our principal broker is D'Avontai Moore, Licensed Mortgage Professional, FSRA Brokerage Lic. #10680. We act as an intermediary between borrowers and lenders to help clients obtain mortgage financing.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that is necessary to provide mortgage brokerage services, including:

  • Full name, email address, and phone number
  • Employment status and income information (e.g. bank statements, T4s, NOAs)
  • Credit history and financial obligations
  • Property details for purchase or refinance transactions
  • Government-issued identification where required by lenders
  • Information you voluntarily provide via our website contact and lead forms

We do not collect your Social Insurance Number (SIN) through our website forms. SIN and other sensitive documents are only collected when required by a specific lender application, and only with your explicit consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide and improve our mortgage brokerage services:

  • To assess your mortgage needs and determine suitable lender options
  • To submit mortgage applications on your behalf to lenders you authorize
  • To contact you about your inquiry or application status
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and lender requirements
  • To send follow-up communications relevant to your mortgage (with your consent)

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Mortgage lenders, banks, and financial institutions, only to process your application and only with your consent
  • Our brokerage network and supervisory broker as required by FSRA regulations
  • Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law and FSRA record-keeping regulations. Client mortgage files are typically retained for a minimum of 7 years following the completion of a transaction.

Sensitive documents shared with us are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored securely. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
